Cora/Woven Felted and Embroidered Heart

This piece is woven on an oval hoop, with a variety of cotton string. The process to make this anatomical heart, consisted of, embroidery, felting and hand beading.

The piece is displayed in a vintage metal frame from Italy. The front part of the frame does not have glass. 

the woven piece is 5 by 7 inches.

the frame measures 7 inches wide, ten inches long.
